Invictus

Trailer

It's Eastwood. I'm willing to bet it's going to be at least good. "Great" though is a tougher sell. It looks fairly by-the-numbers, although the political angle is a little unique. The camerawork seems pretty great as well, but that's just Eastwood for you. Of course, you can't watch this trailer without loving Freeman's voice but especially notice Damon's rather strong-looking performance. Eastwood always gets the best from his actors, and he and Freeman are great collaborators. The sports theme I may not be sure of, but it will be a good movie - guaranteed.

Mammoth

Trailer

A rather newcomer on the scene in director Moodysson and a young, yet talented cast, has be not really sure what to expect from this film. I'll be honest, the trailer didn't grab me in anything other than Williams and the story looks banal.

The Spy Next Door
Trailer

AKA The Pacifier 2. Somebody fucking shoot me.

Old Dogs

Trailer

Well, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be, then again I watched after The Spy Next Door so I have no idea how this movie is. Williams looks tired, I might add. As bored with what he's doing as we are of sadly seeing it.

Well, that's really all there is this week. I spent hours trying to find something worth commenting on, good or bad, and just came away severely disappointed. it seems good trailers come every other week, so please let there be something worth my time next week. I do want to mention the new Avatar trailer...it just looks freaking incredible. Why there's already such a backlash is beyond me. It's Cameron, the man is fantastic and knows how to make a movie and tell a story (even if it's overly melodramatic at times). Until next time...
